On June 25, 2019, experts organized by China Medical Device Industry Association held a technical evaluation meeting on "1.5T whole-body cryogen free superconducting magnet" in Xingaoyi Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. The cryogen-free magnet was successfully developed by Ningbo Caosi supercondcuting technology company, a subsidiary of Xingaoyi.
The expert group members are Chen Yazhu, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of Institute of Biomedical Instrumentation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Jin Yaqiu, professor of Fudan University and academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chen Wufan, chief scientist of National 973 Program, Wang Weidong, researcher of General Hospital of Chinese People's Liberation Army (301 Hospital), Jiang Tianzai, doctoral supervisor of Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Department of Electronic Engineering of Beijing University of Technology The meeting was composed of authoritative experts such as Wu Qiyao, director of the Department of Biomedical Electronic Engineering of Beijing University of Technology. The meeting was hosted by Academician Jin Yaqiu, Dr. Pourrahimi, President of Gaosi, made a project report, and Li Jing, General Manager of Xin Gao Yi, led the experts to visit the 1.5T-850mm aperture whole-body body imaging liquid-free helium magnets.
The 1.5T full-body human imaging cryogen-free superconducting magnet independently developed by XingaoYi realizes the direct conduction cooling technology of the 850mm bore superconducting magnet, especially the creation of the overall structure design of the cryogen magnet, the cryogen-free superconducting switch, cryogen-free superconducting joint, the cryogen-free current leads and other key technologies. The expert group agreed that the technology made the medical whole body magnetic resonance imaging system completely rid of the dependence on liquid helium, can be used in the whole body body superconducting magnetic resonance system, is a revolutionary international cutting-edge technology. The successful transformation of this technological achievement will bring great social and economic benefits, and will have a far-reaching impact on the medical magnetic resonance industry and its application. The expert group unanimously suggested realizing industrialization as soon as possible.
